Terms of Use

Effective 9 October 2026 · Ihab Abdelmouti

Veeva is an expense-sharing record for people who choose to use it together. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Contact ihab.mouti@gmail.com with questions.

What Veeva does

You can record expenses, invite people to groups, attach receipts, see calculated balances, and record settlements. Veeva does not hold funds, send payments, verify that money changed hands, or act as a bank. A “settled” entry reflects a user's record of a payment, not payment confirmation by Veeva. Check amounts and recipients before paying outside the app.

Your account and shared records

Provide accurate account information and protect access to your device and sign-in methods. Add people to groups and upload receipts only when you have the right to share that information. Other members of a group can see the records you share with them. You are responsible for checking expense amounts, splits, and scanned receipt results before saving. Do not use Veeva to impersonate someone, access another person's private information, or record misleading settlements.

Receipts

Receipt scanning is optional and automated. It may misread a merchant, date, amount, currency, or item. Review and correct its result before saving an expense. Scanned images are processed by FreeOCR.AI and its providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not scan receipts containing a full payment card number or other highly sensitive information. You can enter an expense manually instead.

Availability and changes

Veeva is currently offered without a subscription or purchase. We may improve, change, or discontinue features; if a change affects these terms or data handling, we will update the relevant document. We work to keep the app available but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every third-party service will always work.

Deleting an account

You can delete your account from Profile. Shared ledger history needed by other group members remains in redacted form so their balances are not lost. See the Privacy Policy for details. Deleting an account does not settle any outstanding amount you owe to another person.
